Needs checking: real brands rarely do it, scammers imitate it
The "brand's" site was created a few weeks ago
Orbikit asks the public registry for the creation date of each site named. A domain under six months old writing in the name of a known brand is a strong sign.
What it looks like
A message in the name of a large brand, whose link leads to a site registered 23 days ago.
Why it is a sign
The domains of fake offers are disposable: created for one campaign, dropped as soon as they are reported. The creation date is public and cannot be faked.
What a real brand does
The website of an established brand is years old. Young brands exist too, and they say so: hence "needs checking" rather than a refusal.
What to do
Look for the brand elsewhere than through that link: search engine, social networks, reviews. A sincere young brand leaves a trace; a site created for a scam does not.
