Needs checking: real brands rarely do it, scammers imitate it
"We pay 100% upfront": too good to be true
Full payment promised before anything is published, with no question about your channel or your rate, is a fake offer's bait, not a brand's practice.
What it looks like
We pay the full amount in advance, no conditions, for any channel above 1,000 subscribers. Download the contract and sign it today.
Why it is a sign
The promised money is there to make you open the file or the page that follows. A brand that knows neither your audience nor your rate does not pay in advance, let alone in full: it waits for the video.
What a real brand does
A real brand pays on invoice, after publication, often at 30 days, sometimes with a deposit at signature. It asks for your rate before talking about an amount.
What to do
Ask for the offer details, a contract and an address in the brand's name. If the amount has nothing to do with your audience, it is bait.
