Needs checking: real brands rarely do it, scammers imitate it
The sender's address is not the brand's website
A message that names a brand's website but comes from another domain: sometimes an agency, sometimes an impersonation. Check before you answer.

Why it is a sign
Scammers name the real website of a known brand to reassure, but write from a domain they created. The gap between the two cannot be seen without looking closely at the address.
What a real brand does
A brand writes from the domain of its website. An agency writes from its own and says so, and the brand can confirm it works with it.
What to do
Compare the two domains. If it is an agency, check that it exists and that the brand knows it, by writing to the brand through its website.
